Now that we’ve covered drinks, lets go to solids. The healthy choice is a vegetable offering with a creamy dipping sauce. Arrange the snack on a nice, inexpensive serving dish. These are readily obtained at thrift stores, chain retail outlets, and antique stores. If you ever come across a excellent deal on serving trays, stock up for future events. Enclose a card with a well thought out “thank you for the party”.

Finally, if you don’t want to bring food or drink, then choose an item the couple, or family would delight in together. A bouquet of flowers, a set of handmade cards, personalized pottery, picture frame, or a set of candles, are a few relatively simple gifts that can all be bought for less than .00. It is always best to avoid hard alcohol, pictures of yourselves (unless you are attending a family event), and work related items.
