Wow, what a terrific “find” this coffee was! One of the best tasting, smoothest, nearly ‘silky’ coffee blends I have experienced. I use a small more coffee than usual to get a stronger brew as it’s a small too mild for me-I am accustomed to bolder coffees, yet I really delight in this Hawiian Kona blend. Like all the finer things in life, it’s worth paying a small more for an exceptionally excellent cup of coffee – and this is exceptional – yet doesn’t cost much, if any, more than far more ordinary coffees. I’ve used every imaginable coffee for my daily 16 oz mug (or should I say daily ‘fix’- lol) and this has been the most consistently brilliant coffee I’ve used to date. I had been using the Starbucks coffees most recently, and this is much better than most everything they have. Lately, I hadn’t even been finishing my cup, and now, as they say, it’s excellent to the last drop! I find myself wishing I had an even larger mug! The Starbucks coffee tastes nearly ‘burnt’ next to this superior roast. I can’t wait ’till morning for my next cup. Btw, I bought the pods, too, and they’re excellent as well – but I have to stop my Senseo before the cutoff to get a stronger cup; otherwise, it is weak. I use the drip method most of the time, and use the pods for the occasional quick, smaller cup.

The title tells it all. This is my “special” cup and not for everyday. I got started with it when on a trip to Hawaii. I have never looked back. I use the drip method and it is always a treat to drink it. I keep it fresh in the original pkg along with slipping it into a high quality zip lock bag, which works fantastic for me. If you appreciate the better things in life, you will like this coffee. I don’t like Starbucks coffee so this might give you a clue as to my taste and do not like bitter coffee or coffee that ends up nearly like chocalate. Just my view. This is worth the extra money for the quality.

This coffee was bought as a gift for my mother. She likes coffee and loved it so much that she questioned for more.
