Amazon should have given the option of NO rating, because that is how terribly I feel about this product. This product has been tasted with several brewing iterations and were hoping that we were just not brewing the grounds correctly. My family have been to Hawaii, had Kona, and fell in like with it. We certainly are not coffee snobs, but this is absolutely the worst coffee we’ve ever tasted. Not sure if this was even Kona. There was absolutely no nutty Kona fragrance to this coffee after brewing. This stuff is just plain nasty in taste. I’ve had stale coffee before and it was better than this. When I bought it I couldn’t wait to get hold of it and have some. This was one of the most disappointing products bought. Costco had another brand of 100% Koan last year during the holiday season and it was most wonderful. Will never buy this product again!

This coffee is called Maui. My favorite has always been Kona. I can’t tell you what the difference is between Maui & Kona coffees. But both coffee beans are grown in Hawaii. This Maui tastes just like Kona but much less expensive. It’s all I drink at home. When you drink coffee black, as I do, the right taste of coffee is not masked by cream &/or sugar. This coffee is mild & mellow but still has an incredibly full flavor. Everyone I’ve served it to likes it…even people who don’t particularly like coffee. Bon Apetit!!

Not only is this coffee worth drinking, it is a bargain, besides. Having had real Hawaiian coffee on a trip to Hawaii, I quickly became much fussier about what kind I drank. I started ordering from a grower there, but the price was out of my range for an everyday drink. When I tried the Maui brand, I found it was an brilliant coffee, and I could afford for it to become a fine daily vice! Excellent flavor, excellent price, fantastic delivery, what more could I want?
Well, aside from wanting to go back and sip it on the beach at Waikiki!

My husband and I went to Maui on our honeymoon 7 years ago. We really brought some of this brand of coffee home with us. Imagine my delight to find it on Amazon! It is a very smooth coffee with an incredible aroma. Now I just need to go back to Maui!
